Join us in the private dining area of the Mint Hill Hawthorne's New York Pizza and Bar in Mint Hill to watch the live-streamed Steamboat Institute Campus Liberty Tour Debate between Josh Dunn and Timothy Messer-Kruse on Education's Role in Partisanship. The only cost is the food or drinks you purchase, so come eat, drink and fellowship with us.
The Resolution:
Is the failure of civic education in schools the primary cause of ideological partisanship in society today?
For the affirmative: Josh Dunn, PhD is a professor and Executive Director of the Institute of American Civics at University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
For the negative: Timothy Messer-Kruse, PhD is Professor in the School of Cultural and Critical Studies at Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
