Town Council Tracker Role Description:
For a Town Council Tracker, we want a volunteer that will be willing to subscribe to or manually keep up with any scheduled Town Council meeting times and agendas for the Town they reside in.
The LPMeck Executive Committee would ask for regular updates, preferably in our chat application, Mattermost, but email works as well.
The desire is someone who will read any meeting notices and agendas and keep a pulse on the town, preferably someone who lives there.
We want alerts on things that the LP would not want to miss, items we may want to rally around the town on to prevent the growing of the State in our back yard.
Requirements:
We expect this to take at least 2 hours a month, but can be more if the volunteer wants to do more research and reading.
Volunteer would be asked to send in at least a monthly update via email.
Volunteer would be invited to the LPMeck Mattermost server.
We have openings for Charlotte, Matthews, Mint Hill, Cornelius, Davidson and Pineville.
