lpmeck enjoying quiet cookout in the parkOn Sunday, May 25th, LPMeck gathered at Reedy Creek Park to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence — and what a great day it was!

The weather was perfect for a long afternoon outdoors: cool, overcast, and comfortable. Attendees enjoyed a cozy, close-knit cookout filled with good food, great company, and spirited conversation. Steven manned the charcoal grill like a pro, making sure everyone had their fill of delicious eats and cold drinks.

We were joined by liberty-lovers from across the region, including long-time activist Thomas Hill from Cabarrus County, a couple from Gaston County, and even a friendly face from the Forward Party. The crowd may have been small, but the camaraderie was big — and so was the heart of one adorable basset hound who charmed everyone there!

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make it such a relaxed and joyful celebration of local independence and community. Events like these remind us why we fight for a freer future — together.
