Hello Mecklenburg Libertarians!
It’s time for our annual county convention and we’re excited to convene at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille on Saturday, January 13th at 4pm. Dinner will be provided in the Morehead room and space is limited, so reserve your spot early! RSVP on Meetup: https://www.meetup.com/greater-charlotte-libertarians/events/297824179/
We have special guest speakers!
- Jp Cortez – Executive Director of the Sound Money Defense League
- Deb Fillman – Education Analyst and Parent Advocate at The Reason We Learn
We also have a video call scheduled with Chase Oliver, LP Presidential hopeful!
The road to National goes through LPMeck!
Come to Mecklenburg’s convention, become a delegate to LPNC’s convention and throw your hat in the ring to be a delegate for LPN in Washington DC to help decide the Libertarian Party’s Presidential and Vice Presidential nominees in 2024.
There’s a crowd of potential Libertarian presidential candidates this year. We saw some contenders debate in person in Clemmons NC at last year’s LPNC convention.
Our business this year includes choosing delegates to the state convention and Mecklenburg is the second largest county delegation, so attendance is an easy way to become a state delegate. Come help us grow and make our presence felt at the state level.
It’s also a platform year, so it’s your chance to influence the LPMeck platform for 2024 and beyond. Check out our current planks and be ready to discuss updates and changes you want to see in the platform. You can also email the secretary ahead of the convention to add items to the agenda.
We look forward to seeing you there!
James Higgins,
Secretary, LPMeck
