DESCRIPTION:The annual Libertarian Party of Mecklenburg County convention is being held at Hawthorne’s Pizza (S. Charlotte) on Saturday\, March 20th.  This event is open to everyone but please RSVP via the Meetup.org link so that we can account for space and food needs. \nSeveral orders of business will be held at this convention\, including: \n\nElection of a new executive committee\, consisting of a Chairperson\, Treasurer\, Recording Secretary\, and two At-Large positions\nEvaluation and modification of chapter bylaws\nSelection of delegates to the state convention (LPNC)\nReview of the past year’s efforts and upcoming plans\n\nFood will be provided and we expect to have plenty of space to accommodate our business and social needs.  Please come out and meet fellow libertarians and consider participating in the growth of the liberty movement in the greater Charlotte area!

Age 13 and older. NO YOUNGER SIBLINGS WILL BE PERMITTED. Must be with an adult 21 years of age during the entire shift. Groups must have 1 adult per 4 youth. Youth groups can only be a maximum of 20 people! \nIndividuals must be able to follow instructions given by our staff in order to sort donated food products as per FDA guidelines. Please note that volunteers are in our working warehouse with fast moving equipment such as forklifts and loud noises. \nWhat will volunteers help with? SHFB volunteers help us inspect and sort donated food or non-food products here at our Charlotte Warehouse so that we can ship out those products to our partner agencies. \n• OSHA requirement you must have closed-toe shoes on to participate as you will be in our working warehouse. No sandals\, flip-flops or an open toe injury boot can be worn.
